Immaculate room, comfy, with a beautiful view and balcony, for example. Great location in a lovely area near to many restaurants and Washington mall area.
No elevator.

Lovely building and rooms with a beautiful view. Paid US$ 337. Location - comfortable right by great restaurants, and Washington Street mall and beach.

Got comfortable and immaculate deluxe queen room on the 2nd level when arrived, enjoyed that. A shower, hair dryers, and bath sheets was a plus. Location: the hotel was next to the Washington mall area shopping and dining, and Cape May's fabulous beaches.

location
Room had very few "amenities" - such as hooks to hang in the bathroom, only one night table, no helpful literature, etc.

Very good location and lots of charme.
Little outdated. Rooms are not that comfortable and walls are thin as paper.

The staff was friendly and helpful, furnishings were new, bathroom large and appeared to be recently tiled, etc. Also beautiful front veranda with tables and chairs as well as rockers.Decor was tasteful and true to the Victorian theme, yet not so frilly that my husband would be uncomfortable. Complementary continental breakfast in the morning. Location is just a few blocks from the beach and well within walking distance.
If there is an elevator, we never found it and we were on the 3rd floor. Winding multi-leveled staircase to each floor made trudging up with suitcases a little difficult.Staff offered to carry them up, though, so I really shouldn't complain. We just didn't know it was SO far up before we declined that offer! The room did not have an alarm clock or a 'book' with details about the hotel, surroundings, etc. The wasn't any chair in the room, just a bed. TV was small and in a cabinet. No parking lot on the property, so you have to feed a meter on the street, find an unmetered space somewhere in the neighborhood or use a lot that is about 4-5 blocks away.

Our stay was too short. However, we were pleased with thr rooms and the staff. Kate is a sparkling gem--not just a Cape May Diamond.
Stairs, Would be tough on older people who have trouble climbing. Give them rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors.

The beds were very comfortable and it was walking distance from beach and dining
Parking! You had to find an open parking space which was almost impossible, feed the meter 25 cents per 15min or take the parking pass they give you for free parking 7 blocks away and in 95-100 heat that was far!

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also new and clean.
No elevator, I wanted a balcony room and was sure I requested one, there are only four, and ours was not one. On the website it said smoking rooms were availabe, when we arrived we found no smoking anywhere. There is absolutely no parking, you could get a pass to park 6 blocks away. Once we parked ( 2 blocks away) we did not move our car so as not to loose the space.

The hotel was in an excellent location, and had it's own victorian charm.
Free parking was in a lot 0.5 miles away. Wish the hotel had free parking closer by.

Nice and quiet. Close to shopping and the beach.
No parking. It was very hard to park close and had to walk through a rain car to get to our car.there was no seating to read in the room. We were on the third floor and there was no elevator and the ice machine was on the first floor.

Relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch enjoying the delightful sea air.
If you have a problem with stairs, you need to be aware that there is no elevator. In addition, the complimentary parking lot was difficult to find.

It was clean and had a nice continential breakfast in the morning. Price was right for one night.
The room was very small with air conditioning units right outside the bedroom window. Staff were not very informative. Didn't mention the continential breakfast in the morning. We only knew about it because it was mentioned in our confirmation. However, it was clean and suited our needs for one night. Did not have parking. We were told we would have to park in a lot 5 blocks away.
